Using the Item View

The Figur Item View is where you create, review, and export quotes directly from your monday.com deal items. This comprehensive guide covers all features and workflows available in the item view.

Accessing the Item View

To open Figur for any deal:

  1. Navigate to your connected monday.com board
  2. Click on any item (deal/project)
  3. In the item view panel, click Figur or select it from the apps dropdown
  4. The Figur interface will load with the item's context

Interface Overview

The item view consists of several key areas:

  • Service Selection Panel - Choose which services to include in your quote
  • Discovery Flow - Answer questions for each selected service
  • Quote Generation - AI-powered quote creation and review
  • Export Options - Finalize and send quotes back to monday.com

Service Selection

Available Services

Figur supports six core service types:

  1. Web Design - Website creation, redesigns, landing pages

  2. SEO - Search engine optimization, audits, ongoing campaigns

  3. PPC - Pay-per-click advertising, Google Ads, social media ads

  4. Social Media - Management, content creation, advertising

  5. Content - Blog posts, articles, copywriting, content strategy

  6. Branding - Logo design, brand guidelines, visual identity

Selecting Services

  1. Single Service - Click any service card to start discovery for just that service
  2. Multiple Services - Select multiple services by clicking each one (they'll highlight)
  3. Quick Actions - Use the Select All or Clear Selection buttons for bulk operations

Service Configuration

Services must be enabled in your onboarding settings. If a service is missing, check your configuration or contact support.

Discovery Flow

Once you've selected services, the discovery flow guides you through questions specific to each service type.

Question Types

Multiple Choice Questions

  • Select predefined options
  • Can select multiple answers when indicated
  • Answers affect pricing calculations

Text Input Questions

  • Provide specific details about scope
  • Include client requirements or constraints
  • Used for AI quote customization

Number Input Questions

  • Specify quantities (pages, posts, ad spend)
  • Direct impact on pricing calculations
  • Include units and validation
  • Next Service - Move to the next selected service
  • Previous Service - Go back to review or change answers
  • Save Progress - Answers are saved automatically
  • Exit Discovery - Return to service selection (progress is preserved)

AI Enhancement

Your answers are used by our AI to generate accurate, context-aware pricing. Be as specific as possible for best results.

Quote Generation

Triggering Generation

After completing discovery for all selected services:

  1. Click Generate Quote (appears when discovery is complete)
  2. Figur processes your answers through the AI pricing engine
  3. Review the generated quote details

Quote Review Interface

The quote review shows:

  • Service Breakdown - Individual pricing for each service
  • Total Pricing - One-time and monthly totals
  • AI Adjustments - Any scope-based pricing modifications
  • Margin Predictions - Expected profit margins (Pro tier feature)
Review AI-generated pricing before finalizing.

Editing Options

Before finalizing, you can:

  • Adjust Service Prices - Toggle individual services up/down by 10%
  • Remove Services - Delete unwanted services from the quote
  • Add Comments - Include notes for the client or internal team
  • Regenerate Quote - Run AI generation again with updated context

Finalization & Export

Export Options

Once satisfied with the quote:

  1. Finalize & Export - Write totals back to monday.com columns
  2. Export Only - Generate downloadable quote without writing to board
  3. Send to Client - Create client portal link for review

Monday.com Integration

Figur automatically updates these columns:

  • Figur Quote (link) - Direct link to the quote details
  • Quote Total (One-Time) - Sum of one-time pricing
  • Monthly Total - Recurring monthly charges
  • Quote Status - Current state (Draft, Finalized, Sent, etc.)
  • Services Included - List of services in the quote
  • Quoted At - Timestamp of quote generation

Session Management

Auto-Save

  • All progress is saved automatically
  • Sessions persist for 24 hours
  • Return to incomplete quotes anytime

Session States

  • Draft - Discovery in progress
  • Generated - Quote created but not finalized
  • Finalized - Quote exported to monday.com
  • Archived - Old quotes (read-only)

Troubleshooting

Common Issues

Services Not Loading

  • Check board connection in settings
  • Verify services are enabled in onboarding
  • Refresh the page and try again

Discovery Questions Missing

  • Ensure service is properly configured

Quote Generation Fails
